Brighton Mhlongo joins Chippa on a 3-year deal

Port Elizabeth side Chippa United have signed the former Orlando Pirates No.1 goalkeeper Brighton Mhlongo on a three-year deal.

Executive Chairman, Chippa Mpengesi has confirmed the signing of goalkeeper, Brighton Mhlongo on a 3 year deal from Orlando Pirates.

His contract with Orlando Pirates has expired at the end of last month and has joined Dan Malesela’s side Chippa United as free agent.

Mhlongo took charge of the Buccaneer department following the passing of the late Senzo Mayiwa more than a year ago. The introduction of Muhsin Etugral and Jackson Mabokgwane coupled with some injuries saw Mhlongo relegated to the third choice at Pirates.
