Kaizer Chiefs has reportedly agreed a deal to sign a Zimbabwe international Teenage Hadebe from Chicken Inn and will join up with his new team in the near future.
Chicken Inn chairman Lifa Ncube confirmed the move for the 22-year-old, who had been plying his trade at the Zimbabwe Premier League outfit.
He told Newsday: “I am not sure exactly when he is going to South Africa, but he will soon be joining his new club. Hadebe signed for Kaizer Chiefs last year when he went for trials. He is no longer our player.”
The publication also report that the defender will undergo a full screening and medical when he arrives, saying, “Hadebe is expected to undergo fitness and medical examinations together with the rest of the Chiefs players at the end of the week before the start of the pre-season training next week.”
Hadebe, who also had a trial at Ajax Cape Town a couple of years ago, tried out at Chiefs at the start of last season, before returning to Zimbabwe. Now however, it appears a deal has been struck, though the transfer has yet to be officially announced by Kaizer Chiefs.
