The High Court in Pretoria on Thursday dismissed Court application handed by General Burning Ntlemeza in his plea to be reinstated as Head of Hawks unit.
The High Court ruling set aside Ntlemeza’s Court appeal against Police Minister Fikile Mbalula after he was removed as the head of Hawks unity following Court ruling handed by Western Cape High Court last month.
Ntlemeza approached the court on Wednesday to put a stop to Police Minister Fikile Mbalula preventing him from reporting for duty.
The Western Cape High Court ruled that Ntlemeza is not fit to hold the top post, subsequently to that Mbalula appointed new acting head of Hawks.
Ntlemeza has requested a review on the court order and the matter is set to be heard in two weeks’ time.
