The Democratic Alliance (DA) will today submit court paper to the High Court in Pretoria demanding a removal of Brian Molefe at Eskom as CEO.
On Monday Molefe was on a court Battle with the Eskom Board including Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown which was postponed in a fight for his future at Eskom.
This follows the announcement made last week by Minister Brown saying controversial appointment as CEO was being withdrawn.
The main opposition
party DA has now joins the Court battle demanding a removal of Molefe as the head of the power Utility.
The DA says the party is confident that the High Court will rule in favor of the public interest, saying the court verdict will bring a relief to the Country.
Molefe argues that his removal was political motivated and it is unlawful saying political delegates were to be blamed for being involved.
He also says he would need to have his job back in order to fight the DA’s legal case against him.
In the meantime it is not yet clear whether the matter will be heard or not.
