Flights canceled at Beijing airport due to downpours

Passengers stranded as a result of bad weather in China, Beijin Airport. At least 470 flights have been canceled at Shoudu international airport in Beijing because of heavy rains continuing for the second day, RIA Novosti reports.

On Friday, 1,649 flights were to be serviced, but 470 flights were canceled, the airport said, adding that it was still operating normally.

The national meteorological center updated the yellow danger level due to heavy rain.
