The United States of America (USA) says it has killed the Islamic State (ISIS/IS/ISIL) Chief Financier Muhammad Jubayr al-Rawi in an Air-Strike in Syria.

Fawaz Muhammad Jubayr al-Rawi, who “moved millions of dollars” for Islamic State’s “attack and logistics network,” was killed by an airstrike on June 16 in Abu Kamal, Syria, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

Al-Rawi had been placed on the US terrorism sanctions list in December 2016.
