Russia President Vladimir Putin denies any secret dealings with the US President Donald Trump..
Putin described as “hysteria” the allegations that there was a secret deal between Moscow and Donald Trump before his inauguration as US president.
“There was nothing concrete, zero. It’s just hysteria,” Putin said on Friday.
The Russian leader was answering a question from a moderator at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Reuters reported.
Putin also said he had a chance to leaf through US reports containing claims about Russia’s alleged meddling in the US presidential election.
“I did read those reports. There is no accuracy in them – only speculation and conclusions made on the basis of speculation,” TASS quoted him as saying.
