University Students vows to plan more protest against brutal killing of women and abduction.
On Wednesday a large numbers students gathered in Johannesburg CBD calling for an end to violence against women.
Students say they are taking a stand in the wake of horrific attacks and abductions of women.
The South African Students Congress’s Fasiha Hassan says: “I think having placards during peak hour traffic it’s really gotten the message across. I mean lots of motorists saw myself being manhandled and sexually harassed by a police officer”.
Activists say more protest will emerge across the country in a fight of woman abuse and brutal killing.
“So I think we have gotten our message across but today is only step one. There are many, many more things to be done.”
