London, A Christian high school teacher Joshua Sutcliffe suspended for calling a transgender student a ‘girl’ in UK, Britain.
Sutcliffe was suspended, investigated, and will face a tribunal this week after he accidentally called a transgender student who identifies as male a girl during a group activity.
Joshua Sutcliffe claims he can’t see why a boy would be upset being called a girl, but how would he like it if we all went around calling him Peter? 😉

The teacher admits he said “well done girls” to the group that the transgender student was in, and apologized immediately when the student protested his female-gendered words.
Six weeks after the incident, Sutcliffe was suspended by the Oxfordshire state school that he works for. The math teacher was ordered by the school not to talk to colleagues about the misgendering complaint
#LGBT The Times: “He (#JoshuaSutcliffe) believed that, as a Christian, it was not wrong to refer to someone who was born female as a girl”, regardless of the pupil’s #transgender and his wishes to be seen & referred to as a boy: MORE living proof of the #intolerance of #religion.

#JoshuaSutcliffe: “the suggestion that gender is fluid conflicts sharply with my Christian beliefs…” – where’s that mentioned in the New Testament exactly?
