Twitter hit on Speaker of National Assembly Baleka Mbete after the Constitutional Court handed down its judgment on Secret ballot vote’s call by the United Democratic Movement (UDM).
Chief Justice of the South African Constitutional Court Mogoeng Mogoeng has blamed Mbete for not executing her duties as Speaker of National Assembly after refusing to grant UDM permission to an appeal for a secret ballot vote on a motion of no confidence against President Jacob Zuma.
Activists took it toTwitter voicing out their anger over the matter after the Constitutional Court revealed that Mbete had powers to initiate secret ballot vote.
