French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais FC have confirmed that they have parted ways with the former Supersport and Orlando Pirates striker Kermit Erasmus.
Erasmus joined the French side in 2016 from Orlando Pirates, made only 11 appearance for the club.
The striker spend last season on loan at Ligue 2 side RC Lens, where he made 13 appearances.
Rennes have now confirmed they have terminated his contract following a mutual agreement with the player.
The club tweeted: “The Rennais F.C. and Kermit Erasmus have earlier terminated the contract that linked them since January 2016.
The player is therefore free from any commitment.

Le joueur est donc libre de tout engagement.
